Three students remain in a Detention Center after they spiked their teachers drink to get back at her when one was sent to the Principals Office. Channel 9s Julie Salomone was in court when the girls went their parents were in court, too, upset. The parents were crying and so were the children in court. It happened at deltona middle school. The Sheriffs Office made it clear even though they spiked the drink with crushed red pepper, it is still considered poisoning. Three middle school girls are facing felony charges for messing with their teachers drink. They arrived in this van saturday morning to see a judge for the first time. We werent allowed to bring cameras inside because of their ages. A judge ordered each of them to spend 21 days in the juvenile Detention Center. We are learning more about the huge flairup at the chevron refinery that it will up the sky last night. The big flames and billowing smoke could be seen for miles creating a big deal of concern. Brian flores is joining us from richmond with chevrons response. Reporter chevron says what many people saw and those concerns for many people. It was normal operations what chevron is saying. It had no impact in the surrounding neighborhood. But if you didnt know that, certainly raised concerns and many responders got many phone calls. This happened just after 7 00 last night. M

Today, we starting off with some moderate news. Most of the commute is nice. We are looking at the east shore freeway. Taking about 18 minutes. There has been no major problems. And also looking at the bay bridge toll plaza westbound. They had an accident blocking lanes. They have opened up some of the lanes. But a couple of the lanes are still closed. If you are driving out of San Francisco to the airport, you should be aware. Right now its a good time to get on 280 instead. Use 280 to 380 and you will bypass this problem now. The northbound lanes shouldnt be effected. But again if you are driving on 101 out of the city, there will be some delays associated with this crash. Lets go back to the desk.
