A MENTAL health organisation originally set up from a micro pub in Keighley is expanding into Bradford this month, as demand for mental health support continues to grow. It’s Worth Talking About was set up by Ryan Anderton, of Keighley, in March 2020 from Hop on Worth micro pub in Keighley, following the suicide of Tom Marshall, from the town. Despite Covid it has continued to grow with rapid pace from its initial talking therapy peer support group for men, to an offering that assists both men and women across most of the Bradford district and also into Leeds. The announcement of its new Tong, Queensbury and Headingley groups, which will be located at The Holiday Inn, Queensbury Celtic Football Club and the HEART Centre respectively, means it is now operating 17 groups in West Yorkshire, with a further two to be added in Cardiff soon.
