It’s been 17 years since Frasier said “Goodnight, Seattle” for the final time as the hit NBC comedy ended after 11 seasons.
The American television sitcom, which was created as a spin-off of Cheers, first appeared on our TV screens back in 1993.
Viewers across the globe fell in love with psychiatrist Frasier Crane and his family and friends in their hometown of Seattle for more a decade until it s final episode aired which aired on May 13, 2004.
For 20 years, the show dominated the small screen, with the series itself and the cast winning 37 Primetime Emmy Awards, a record at the time for a scripted show.

Frasier is to return to our screens has your correspondent wondering whether its protagonist’s art collection has survived. The sulky sitcom shrink lived in an apartment in Seattle that was decked out with modern art – including a Rauschenberg poster and whopping great Dale Chihuly vase – as well as a large collection of African objects. He was hypersensitive about chairs: always banging on about his favourite Eames lounge chair and disgusted by the mangy armchair that moved into the apartment with his father (he had a point).
