Working with data and technology now needs to become “business as usual” for nurses in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, according to senior figures
Chief executive Shirley Baines said: “During the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic we saw nurses innovate at scale and use digital health to deliver continuous care for new and existing patients.”
She added that the trust wanted to “support nurses to use data and technology to make real and lasting improvements to patient care, their organisations and to the nursing profession”.
The grants will cover three areas of digital health innovation including the use of data and analytics to measure and improve nursing practice and nurse-led interventions.
“We know that transformation in digital health depends on people taking on leadership roles and making change happen
