KATHMANDU, April 18: Three leaders from the CPN-UML and one from the Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) are set to join the government in Lumbini Province, taking oath today as ministers without portfolio. UML and NUP have finalized the names of the ministers who will be part of the Lumbini Province government.
BUTWAL, April 12: Newly-appointed chief minister (CM) of Lumbini Province, Jokh Bahadur Mahara, is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence on Friday. The Secretary of the Provincial Assembly, Durlabh Kumar Pun, confirmed that a session of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly has been called for 1 PM today for the CM to seek a vote of confidence.
KATHMANDU, April 12: The chief minister (CM) of Lumbini Province, Jokh Bahadur Mahara, has received the vote of confidence in the Lumbini Province Assembly. He received 48 votes in the 86-member provincial assembly.
