NEW CANAAN - Although an ice skating rink will probably not be installed this winter, the equipment has arrived and is being stored behind the Carriage Barn in Waveny Park.
It has not yet been determined where the rink will be installed, though the four main town’s parks are being considered.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) will be held on January 4 to take the decision regarding opening of schools in the country in the wake of the second Covid-19 wave.
The meeting, which will be headed by Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood and attended by all provincial education ministers, will discuss the spike in coronavirus cases in the country as well as the opening of educational institutions.
The meeting will also consider reducing winter and summer vacations. In addition, the new academic year 2020-21 will be considered to start in August 2021 and the national education policy will also be considered.
