Slaughterhouses and meat/fish shops in urban areas of Madhya Pradesh will be closed on January 22, the day of the Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, according to officials. The urban development department has directed civic bodies to ensure the closure of these establishments on that day, as stated in a government release. Additionally, a special cleanliness drive will be conducted in all urban areas, including temple premises, during the Ram Mandir pran pratishtha ceremony.
