Hyderabad: Etela Rajender hit back at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, asking if the link road to his farmhouse was not laid illegally across allocated and private lands, a day after he was dropped from the Council of Ministers over allegations of land encroachment.
Rajender, said that the chief minister was targeting him across all of the institutions under his influence. He, on the other hand, made it clear that he would not be intimidated.

The former Minister alleges road to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s farmhouse was laid through assignment and private lands. Former Minister and Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender, who has fallen out the grace of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) supremo and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, has said that he would move legally against the ‘witch-hunting’ unleashed against him by the State government.
“Eatala Rajender is not a person who could be cowed down by arrests and cases. I am not so small to be unsettled with such tactics as I have tread the path of the movement along with you (KCR) for 19 years. How could I, a brother-like person, become a demon overnight. I will prefer to die but won’t mortgage my self-respect at any cost,” he said in his first reaction after being dropped from the Council of Ministers on Sunday night.

Former Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender on Saturday who was sacked and dropped from Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s (KCR) cabinet on Sunday, just a day after he was stripped of his cabinet portfolio following land grabbing allegations said that self-respect is more important than anything else and he was willing to resign.
However, a statement from Raj Bhavan said, On the advice of the Chief Minister of Telangana, the Governor has dropped Etala Rajender from the Council of Ministers with immediate effect, and he was unceremoniously dropped from the Cabinet.
Eatala Rajender hits back at KCR
I am not scared by threats of arrests and cases. You have deployed hundreds of policemen around my house. Book whatever case you want to book against me. I will approach the court, he said.
