[cheers] steve: a lot of people are up because they are already shopping. a bunch of america s big retailers. carly, i know you were talking about this on fox & friends first opened up at 5:00 a lot of them opened at 6 klaus being because today is a big day. sounds like americans may be spending a little more this year than they did last year even though inflation is eating us all up. carley: that s exactly right. i was reading that people are going to be spending, obviously for black friday, because you get the deals. and then small business saturday is tomorrow. and people are apparently going to be spending even more, and then cyber monday. and you get to shop in your jammies and save then, too. lawrence: black friday black friday week. carley: booming. lawrence: before and after i m a huge black friday shopper. the key is to shop out of season. that s where the real deals are. steve: out of season? carley: get the fake christmas tree in june.
give me 50% off anything i d buy in the store. carley: so you pro spam email. one person in america that gets the junk email and it works on them. i love your fact about black friday. i did not know that. i never shop black friday or go to the mall or anything like that. but there is a small business saturday and we just had this great panel of people on the show a few minutes ago and all small business owners. things have been rough for small business owners the past few years. so tomorrow is important for them and then there is monday and you can shop in your jammies on your couch which is what i like to do. but the sales, the years, it is not one day but like a whole week or two week extravaganza appearance be one that is a i like small business and go out and hit the surf shops to keep them in business. by the way, did you have a great thanksgiving? carley: i did. it was a wonderful thanksgiving.
