ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Dougherty County Elections Board has approved an additional day to early vote in the Jan. 5 runoff elections.
Early voting will be available on Saturday, Dec. 19.
Voters can cast their ballot from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
“The elections board got a letter from Adam Sparks, an attorney in Atlanta, recently, and he was simply stating to the election board that we’re not following the statutory guidelines on advanced voting,” said Dougherty county’s attorney, Spencer Lee.
