The Staten Island District Attorney is urging Staten Islanders to report discarded needles in an effort to combat the drug crisis in the borough. On Wednesday, Michael McMahon joined forces with the NYPD, Jamie Longo from Community Health Action Staten Island and Assemblymember Michael Reilly (R-South Shore) to clean up an area of the waterfront on Richmond Terrace by Snug Harbor Road. There, they found “numerous used needles.”
