LUBBOCK, Texas – No. 3 Texas Tech baseball opens its 2021 season at the all-new Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, as one of six top-10 teams competing in the inaugural State Farm College Baseball Showdown on February 19-21, the Texas Rangers announced Thursday.
All eyes in the college baseball world will be on Arlington, where the Red Raiders are among three Big 12 teams and three SEC teams in league.
Tech opens the season in prime time Friday-evening with a first pitch at 7:00 PM against No. 8 Arkansas. The weekend continues on Saturday afternoon as Tech stands opposite No. 6 Ole Miss at 3pm. The Red Raiders will close their residence at 11 a.m. on Sunday at No. 7 Mississippi State.
