A teenager said she filed a police report against Jamie Lee Pruett weeks before he was arrested for a deadly shooting. She said Pruett had made inappropriate comments to her and then tried to follow her home from work. She reported the incident to the police and attempted to get a protective order less than three weeks before the shooting. She says she wishes people would have taken her warnings more seriously. The Lubbock Police Department said a detective did investigate the allegations, but ultimately did not have enough evidence to move forward with charges.
