Copper Mountain, CO, Dec. 10, 2020 This year, the nation’s most unique Menorah Lighting Ceremony for Chanukah will take place on Saturday, December 12th on the slopes at Copper Mountain. The candle lighting ceremony is part of Rabbi Jamie Korngold, The Adventure Rabbi’s classic event, Shabbat on Snow and it will take place at 12:30 pm behind Solitude Station, located near the bottom of the Excelerator Lift.
Come find out how welcoming the oasis of Shabbat into the ski day can enrich one’s experience on the mountain and nourish the soul. To take part in the event meet Rabbi Jamie Korngold at the base of the Super Bee at 10 am to ski. Or, meet the group behind Solitude Station at 12:30 for a joyous,15-minute Menorah Lighting and Chanukah celebration.
