The Adair County Public Library will begin offering browsing appointments on March 1.
Patrons must call ahead to schedule an appointment. Ten visitors will be allowed in at a time for 30-minute appointments, which will begin at 9 a.m. Masks are required and groups will change every half hour. Patrons will be allowed to select materials, check out, make copies and use fax/scan machines.
One-hour computer appointments will still be offered and must be scheduled in advance. Curbside printing and copying will also still be offered.
“We want to see our patrons, we need our patrons and staff to stay safe,” said Library Director Jami Livingston in a press release.” Please follow social distancing guidelines and other health precautions as you come to the library. Stay home if you are sick. Wear your mask, we do have disposable ones available for patrons if they need one.”
