JONESBORO – Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge yesterday, October 21, 2021, announced at the Arkansas Rural Development Conference she would allocate $1 million to benefit the Arkansas State Police for the Emergency Vehicle Operations center and officer driving course. This announcement comes as investment in law enforcement is more crucial than ever. The Attorney General has always been a fierce advocate for our men and women in blue. The funds will be disbursed from the Consumer Education and Enforcement fund. "When families look at moving to a community, they look at the crime rate and educational opportunities for their children. This training facility can be used by all state and local law enforcement to better train our officers so we can have safer communication," said Attorney General Rutledge.
