Environmental Policy Initiative at the Mackinac Center seeks to answer two key questions. First, what unique geographical and environmental features does Michigan have that could contribute to improving the well-being of its residents? Second, how can the state maximize the value of those unique features to promote a balance of environmental health and economic vigor, and secure citizen access to natural resources and the benefits they provide?
