Lorain County Metro Parks recently accepted two donations of land that have the potential to be used for future trails in Sheffield Village and Elyria.
Lorain County Metro Parks administrators met with members of the public July 18 at the Sunset Terrace at Lakeview Park, 1800 W. Erie Ave. in Lorain, to unveil their new strategic plans for the next 10 years, which includes adding trails to parks, more views of Lake Erie and upgrades to Cascade Park in Elyria and North Star Preserve in Oberlin.
