British electronic duo Overmono have mixed a new compilation album.
fabric presents Overmono features music by Equiknoxx, Blawan, Orca, Actress, and more, as well as four tracks from Overmono. The album arrives digitally and on CD July 16 via fabric, with a vinyl release set for September 3. Today (May 12), Overmono have released a single from the compilation. Overmono are brothers Tom and Ed Russell. Of their new fabric mix, they said in a press release:
We’d just stepped out to get a curry from a take-away called Bombay to Bromley which is nearby our studio when we got an email asking us to do a mix for fabric. There was something about the vibe that evening that’s quite typical of south east London on a cold winter’s night. Overheard conversations and disagreements. Night buses with steamed up windows. Overmono, the duo of Tessela and Truss, are releasing a new mix compilation as part of the
fabric presents series.
Totalling 29 tracks, Overmono s mix includes four of their own productions, including their remix of For Those I Love s I Have A Love and a new track called If U Ever , which you can listen to below. Elsewhere, the mix encompasses techno, UK garage, jungle, hardcore and other forms of electronic music, with tracks from Blawan, Actress, Surgeon & James Ruskin, Anz, L.B. Dub Corp, and Ed Rush & Optical, among others.

The 52-track release takes in music by Juan Atkins, Helena Hauff, Jeff Mills and lots more
Tresor has shared full details of a 30th anniversary box set that will be released later this year.
TRESOR 30 takes in 52 tracks in all, much of it brand new. Among those contributing new and unreleased tracks to the compilation are Surgeon, KMRU, Function, Regis + James Ruskin (as O/V/R), LSDXOXO, Donato Dozzy, DJ Stingray, Speaker Music, AFRODEUTSCHE, and Moritz von Oswald.
Select older cuts from the Tresor archives also feature, including tracks from Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram, Basic Channel, Juan Atkins, Drexciya and Porter Ricks. The compilation is curated by Carin Abdulá, who is head booking agent at OUTER Agency.
