Ciaran Leigh Morris was killed on Monday in the collision in the West Midlands town of Brownhills. A BMW is understood to have been involved in a collision with another car before hitting Ciaran’s pram as he was being pushed along the pavement at around 4pm on Easter Sunday. The infant suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital but West Midland Police said “nothing could be done to save him”.

12:50 EDT, 9 April 2021 A two-week-old baby boy who was killed after his pram was struck by a car died as a result of major trauma , an inquest heard today. Ciaran Leigh Morris was pinned to a wall by a BMW that mounted the pavement in Brownhills, West Midlands, at around 4pm on Easter Sunday. The newborn was rushed to Walsall Manor Hospital after being given CPR at the scene but nothing could be done to save his life despite the best efforts of medics. James Paul Davis, 34, of Walsall, has appeared before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
