A district court judge has described the theft of tools from building sites as an ‘epidemic’ after hearing that a dad-of-three was found with stolen power tools in his van when stopped by gardaí in Bandon last year.
A Bandon farmer became irate with gardaí after they stopped him, due to his manner of driving, telling them he was in a hurry to the local mart to sell some animals, a court heard.
A case against a man alleged to have held a knife and a lump hammer in a threatening manner towards one of the owners of the Emerald Isle fishing vessel has been adjourned to the April 9th sitting of Skibbereen District Court.
