Restauranteur Michel Roux was a legend in the eyes of James Martin, who felt the loss deeply when his close friend passed away in spring last year. A year on from the tragedy, James pays tribute to his dear mentor. James Tweeted: Hard to believe we lost this true gentleman a year ago. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction boss. The Frenchman died at the age of 79, on March 11 2020, from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
