talking about this week. how do you advise the most vulnerable senators when they are handling questions about calling witnesses? are there senators who put themselves at risk in november if they refuse, or they vote against calling for witnesses? i don t offer them personal advice, that is other people s job, but i would say that i think you ve got to pay close attention to your state, what the president s numbers are in your state, that will have an impact on how you handle the issue overall. i would also say i think impeachment in general is not likely to be wall-to-wall an issue next november as it is right now. you have to vote the way you think is the right way to vote and not worry about november consequences, because at the end of the day, a lot of this will be washed out. i think if anything, a lot of looking back and impeachment and think, what was that in the end? i think they need to look at their state and how it fits their situation. do you, would you say th
