East carson city, just before 8 oclock last night. Deputies say the vehicle involved in the hit and run was spotted at a gas station on College Parkway, Near Research way. When officers approached the suspect vehicle, described as a ford pickup the man reportedly rammed the police suv and fled eastbound on College Parkway leading deputies on a high speed chase. The man reportedly lost control of the pickup and crashed at the carson city airport. Deputies say the man died after the pickup thrown from the vehicle.
