Town residents, including several who spoke during a recent town board meeting, want Wayne County Emergency Medical Services to ensure help is available when itâs needed.
On April 20, Albert Artis Sr. suffered a medical emergency while volunteering at the Christian Fellowship Alliance Community Food Bank in Fremont, witnesses including Larry Jones, president of Norwayne Alumni and Friends, said.
It took 10 minutes for a Wayne County EMS quick-response vehicle to arrive and 19 minutes for an ambulance to arrive, according to response times recorded by Wayne County EMS.
