Musgrave intended to sell the home and move to the Bay of Islands to retire, but nobody will buy it. “I tried to sell it, and was hoping to move north, but people just take one look at the materials, and they don’t want a bar of it,” he says. “I’m basically stuck in Hamilton. It’s changed the course of my life. It’s like having a brick tied around your neck when you re trying to swim.”
