The Keep Highbury Moving group share concerns about road closures
• YOU report objections to the Highbury West PFS, people-friendly streets, scheme by Sarah Georgiou of Mrs Lovell’s Greengrocers and James Godfreys of Godfreys butcher shop,
As an occasional, but invariably satisfied, customer of both I am happy to say that I believe their fears are unjustified.
Ms Georgiou worries that customers will be put off by being unable to park “around the corner” and Mr Godfreys that his suppliers will take longer to reach him. Both shops are on the west side of Highbury Park at Highbury Barn.

The Keep Highbury Moving group share concerns about road closures
RESIDENTS and businesses are calling on the council to use cameras and technology to allow some vehicles to pass through traffic blocks in Highbury.
Islington began work on its Low Traffic Neighbourhood bollards in Avenell Road and Plimsoll Road last week.
But Sarah Georgiou from Mrs Lovellâs Greengrocers in Highbury Park said: âWe rely on our locals and we rely on people that pass by. If you canât park around the corner are you going to come to us or are you going to go to a supermarket with a car park?
