Virginia GOP candidate “sick” at Chauvin verdict
Virginia State Senator Amanda Chase, who is running for the Republican nomination in the state’s race for governor, has shared her feelings about the verdict in the Derek Chauvin case – and her thoughts, it seems, are not with George Floyd.
In a video she posted to Facebook, she told a crowd on Tuesday that “today’s verdict makes me sick”.
“I am so concerned about our law enforcement right now quitting,” she said, “and you should be, too.” She also claimed that the jury only convicted Mr Chauvin out of fear that exonerating him could lead to civil unrest.

It comes as British MPs are told that hundreds of people are trying to enter the country on fake Covid test documents.
