This one leaving as much as 20 inches of snow in some places. Enough fell to make this the snowiest month on record in the city of boston where there is plenty to shovel just no good place to put it. Snow driven by gusty winds caused whiteout conditions collapsed roofs and paralyzed travel. Now the arctic cold dangerous below zero windchills extend from the midwest across much of the northeast.
