On this day, we remember the bombing of the 16th street Baptist Church, where four little girls lost their lives. Addie may collins addie mae collins, denise mcnair, Carole Robertson lost their lives. Our most valuable and our most vulnerable. It took the most valuable, the most vulnerable to galvanize a generation to motivate a movement, to make the better days of birmingham better bitter days of birmingham better.
