Jan 21, 2021 Donald Melvin Brought, 87, born April 5, 1933, passed into eternity on January 15, 2021. He was the son of the late Russell and Charlotte (Bingaman) Brought and the eldest of nine siblings. He will be greatly missed by his family, surrounding New Lancaster Valley neighbors and close friend, Rebecca. Donald served his country during the Korean Conflict. Over the course of his life, he was a self-employed poultry farmer, a vocational-technical schoolteacher, and worked at Echo Ultrasound. He raised a family of three children, James Brought, Mrs. Thomas (Candace) Rager, and Mark Brought. Eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. There will be no services per his wishes.
