First responders in San Luis Obispo are working around the clock preparing for weather-related emergencies with the most common one being electrical hazards.
Emergency services are reporting 2 dead and 11 injured, a staggering parallel to the 2003 earthquake that rocked northern San Luis Obispo County that killed 2 people.
"One of the biggest things we recommend is creating a preparedness kit. A 72 hour kit making sure everyone in your household can be self-sufficient for at least three days."
The City of San Luis Obispo’s Fire Department wants to know how it can best serve you, so they’re asking the community to give input via an online survey.
