Houston police have filed capital murder charges against Derrick Wayne Castille, 25, and Carl Michael McCloud, Jr., 21. The charges stem from a fatal shooting of a man at 8404 Safeguard Street around 12:15 a.m. on December 10, 2022.
Houston police say Carl Michael McCloud, Jr., 21, is charged with capital murder in connection to the deadly shooting of James Blanton, 34, who was killed in the 8400 block of Safeguard Street.
