Museveni reappointed son Muhoozi because he s afraid of army

December 17, 2020 Robert Kyagulanyi in Rukiga district By reappointing his son, Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba to head the elite presidential guard unit, Special Forces Command (SFC), President Yoweri Museveni is afraid after recognising that majority of officers in police and army no longer support him, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.  In a reshuffle notice issued Wednesday, Museveni reappointed Muhoozi as the head of SFC, a position he held before he was dropped and appointed presidential advisor on security matters in 2017. SFC has the duty of guarding the president and first family. Muhoozi replaces Maj. Gen. Birungi who has been SFC commander since June 2019.
