At least vulnerable 5,100 families in Uganda have started receiving relief food items and clothing from Haba Na Haba Food Bank.
Buoyed by the financial support from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Martoum Global Initiative and The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy in Kampala through the Warm Winter Initiative, the families in Jinja, Kakumiro, Kampala, Mpigi, Mukono and Wakiso are receiving food boxes that contain 2kgs of sugar, 5kgs of rice, 6 packets of milk, 2 packets of salt, 2kgs of wheat, 1 litre of cooking oil, 4 packets of pasta, 5kg of beans and 5kg of maize flour. In addition, the families are also receiving 5,100 duvets, 2,025 hoodies and 6,140 mosquito nets.
