One of the bands he plays in was nominated for the SAN Diego Music Awards. It was a COVID Collaboration between one American and 3 Canadians. All done virtually. It’s Jon Scarantino on vocals, Jeff Dakus drums, Bruce Brososky bass and James Ashberry guitar The song has a really cool back story. Jeff recorded a drum track, then sent it to the Bass player, who laid down a base line. He then Sent it the guitar player who built upon it. Once those tracks were all recorded they sent it to Jon who wrote and sang the vocals. Jeff and Jon go way back from high school…. But the other guys volunteered to join the challenge. It was all done virtually then final production at The Rock Lodge in Alberta, Canada
