A former military man turned lawyer who has been warned by the Armed Forces in a statement against using his military rank in his civilian dealing has hit back.
According to GAF, the use of the title is unauthorised as the lawyer had failed to serve the standard number of years he was supposed to as an officer in order for him to use the title in civil life.
The Ghana Armed Forces had warned the lawyer – who had served in the military for five years 10 months and 18 days prior to his voluntary resignation of commission – against using the ex-captain title because he had failed to serve the standard number of years he is supposed to in order to use the rank in civil life.
