LONDON: One of the UK’s most prominent far-right, anti-Islam activists will be quizzed by courts after failing to pay legal bills for a libel case he lost against a Syrian refugee. Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was sued by Jamal Hijazi for defaming him online.
Yasmin Wafah Chkaifi, 43, died after the attack by Leon Mccaskie, 41, despite the efforts of the motorist who intervened by ploughing into him in Maida Vale, West London, on January 24.
Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is being pursued by creditors for an estimated £2million after he was ordered to compensate a Syrian schoolboy he libelled.
