Triple jumper Kimberly Williams secured the only Jamaican victory at the United States Track and Field (USATF) Golden Games meet on Sunday.
Williams the 2018 Commonwealth Games champion leapt 14.62m (+1.4 m/s) for victory, and was just outside her personal best of 14.64m set three years ago.
The 32-year-old Williams who was seventh at the 2016 Olympic Games, was notching her second win from three competitions this season and seems to be rounding into form at the right time.
Williams’ jump puts her fourth in the world behind leader Yulimar Rojas of Venezuela, with a massive 15.14m, and her Jamaican teammate Shanieka Ricketts with 14.63m.
