Fedrick Dacres falls well short at Oslo Diamond League

That tame effort came five days after Dacres retained his title at the Jamaican Olympic Trials with a throw of 64.31. Sweden s world champion Daniel Stahl got the better of  Slovenian Kristjan Ceh for the victory. Double Olympic champion Elaine Thompson Herah and her MVP teammate Shericka Jackson won the respective semi-final races of the women s 100m on the second day of the Jamaican Olympic Trials at the National Stadium in Kingston on Friday to qualify for the final. In a statement performance Thompson Herah, who is third on the 2021 world rankings at 10.78, mowed down Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, the world leader with a sensational 10.63,  to win the second semi-final.
