Five Sabah Covid deaths, Malaysia overtakes China in cumulative cases today | Daily Express Online

Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 1,052 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 72,733. In a press conference, Noor Hisham said the 1,295 cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 87,913. China has to date recorded a total of 86,770 infections. ADVERTISEMENT Meanwhile, the seven deaths bring the toll to 429. Selangor recorded the highest number of infections, with 481 cases today, followed by Sabah (268) and Kuala Lumpur (232). Noor Hisham said 356 of the 481 cases in Selangor were from clusters and the increased close contact screenings being done on the ground.
