Talented wide receivers can be found throughout the draft. In recent years, the second round has produced several of the league’s young stars who hit the ground running as rookies.
Players like Michael Thomas (2016), Davante Adams (2014), Juju Smith Schuster (2017), A.J. Brown (2019), and D.K. Metcalf (2019) were all selected in the second round of their respective drafts and are considered among the best in the business. All five of the aforementioned players have at least one career Pro Bowl selection and one or more seasons of 1,000 or more yards receiving.
Report: Colts Will Meet Virtually with BYU WR Dax Milne Prior to the NFL Draft
Dax Milne prior to the 2021 NFL Draft:
One guy I want to talk about is BYU s Dax Milne. While watching Zach Wilson, it was Milne who came down with a lot of those big plays (70-1188-8 in 2020).
The 6’1”, 190 pound junior wideout caught 70 receptions for 1,188 receiving yards (17.0 ypr. avg.) and 8 touchdown receptions during 12 starts for the Cougars this past season.
Milne was quarterback
Zach Wilson’s favorite target for BYU (who’s a projected Top 5 NFL Draft pick) and the two were also college roommates sharing a connection both on and off the field.
