According to the new rule, now a builder has to pay Rs 15 to Rs 30 per square feet of the total size of the building to obtain completion certificate if the height of the under-construction building is more than 15 metre.
At present, the highest district level committee (DLC) rate in Jaipur is for C-Scheme and MI Road areas, where per square feet costs range between Rs 90,000 and Rs 1.25 lakh.
Officials said around 150 places on both sides of the footpath and road were illegally occupied by squatters who put up carts, tarpaulins, hoardings, signboards, iron angles, platforms, tin shaded tables and chairs among others.
Reprimanding the State for blatantly disregarding the court directions in a plea for regularization of a particular plot, Rajasthan High Court has mandated forming of separate Grievance Redressal.
The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has made changes to the approval process of building plans in order to prevent construction violations on narrow roads in the city. Learn more about the new regulations.
