GREENVILLE The Darke County Republican Women’s Club (DCRWC) will host a panel discussion regarding Ohio House Bill 248 (H.B. 248) featuring Ohio Reps. Creech is from Preble County and represents District 43. Manchester is from Logan County and represents District 84, which includes the northern part of Darke County. Jena Powell is from Darke County and represents District 80, which includes the southern part of Darke County. All three Representatives are Republicans.
DC Auditor Ginn to speak May 10

GREENVILLE, OHIO – The Darke County Republican Women’s Club (DCRWC) will host Darke County Auditor Carol Ginn as featured speaker Monday, May 10, 2021, 6 p.m., at the Shawnee Nature Center, 4267 State Route 502, in Greenville.
Ginn will be discussing the responsibilities and functions of the office she leads, and answering questions from the audience. Norma Knick, a former Darke County Auditor, met Ginn while she was working for the Ohio Department of Tax Equalization in Columbus. When Ginn moved to Greenville, it was Knick who hired her into the auditor’s office. Ginn worked closely with Janice Anderson who succeeded Knick as Darke County auditor. GREENVILLE, OHIO – The Darke County Republican Women’s Club (DCRWC) is hosting a Meet the GOP Primary Election Candidates night Monday, April 12, 2021, 6 p.m., at the Shawnee Nature Preserve, 4267 State Route 502, Greenville.
The Ohio Primary Election will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021, and candidates who will be on the Darke County Republican ballot have been asked to speak and take questions. Candidates are John A. Baumgardner for President of the Greenville City Council, Rebecca Strait for Greenville City Treasurer, Brian R. Brown, Doug Schmidt, Jeffrey Whitaker, and Douglas Wright for Greenville City Council. There are three open “at-large” seats on the Greenville council with four GOP candidates competing for those three seats. The three candidates receiving the most primary election votes will run on the November general election ballot.
