Cornes names the small forward Collingwood should pursue

Kane Cornes has suggested a somewhat left-field option for Collingwood to bolster its small forward stocks.
The topic of the Magpies’ fringe forwards was raised in the wake of the one-point loss to Brisbane on Thursday night after Josh Thomas and Will Hoskin-Elliott performed well below their best.
Cornes believes the Pies could do worse than pursue Tyson Stengle in the Mid-Season Draft.
Stengle has been training with SANFL club Woodville-West Torrens since he was stood down and subsequently cut by Adelaide for several off-field misdemeanours, but could serve a purpose at the Holden Centre in Cornes’ eyes.
