Students at CQUniversity have celebrated the end of over-caffeinated, late nights at a graduation ceremony in Mackay.
Almost 150 Mackay students graduated on Tuesday, with nine graduates completing their Vocational Education Training, one finished a PHD and 138 took home either a bachelor or master degree. Alysha Vassallo graduates with a Bachelor of Building Design, 2021
Speaking at the ceremony at Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre, Chancellor John Abbott challenged the graduates to maintain a commitment to lifelong learning.
âChallenge yourself at all times, contribute to the communities of which you are a part,â he said.
There were 25 students graduating from a Bachelor of Nursing, five from a Master of Nursing, and 24 across early, primary and secondary education.
