Bung receiving a RM80,000 mock cheque from Lajim as part of Aim’s CSR programme to assist the people.
Kota Kinabalu: The State Government called on all parties, especially government-linked companies (GLCs), to increase the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said the CSR programme is a commendable step as it helps the needy, especially those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as disasters such as fires, floods and others.
Bung, who is also Works Minister, said CSR programmes can help ease the financial burden of people when the economy and the people’s wellbeing are affected by the pandemic.
