The incumbent treasurer of Jahangirnagar University Professor Sheikh Md Monzurul Huq has been appointed as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of the university.
A notification, signed by deputy secretary of Ministry of Education Md Mahmudul Alam, confirmed the appointment today.
According to the section 13 (1) of Jahangirnagar University Act 1973, Chancellor of the university Abdul Hamid appointed him for the next four years, stated the notification.
Professor Sheikh Md Monzurul Huq of Geography and Environment department will be replaced by the outgoing Pro VC Prof Amir Hussain.
