British luxury carmaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has unveiled a new global strategy Reimagine with electrification at its very core. The company says its Jaguar brand will go entirely electric within the next four years. In addition, JLR will start to launch all-electric Land Rover SUV models in 2024.
According to the company s press release, JLR models will be offered with all-electric variants by 2030 and Land Rover will launch six electric variants in the next 5 years. JLR is also targeting positive cash (net of debt) by 2025. The carmaker is looking to substantially reduce and rationalise non-manufacturing infrastructure in the UK.
