MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday afternoon for a 24-year-old woman and a child who were kidnapped at gunpoint and forced into a vehicle in northeast Minneapolis. At 5:15 p.m., just over an hour after the Amber Alert was issued, Minneapolis police confirmed the woman and child were found safe. The investigation into the kidnapping is ongoing.
An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 3-year old child who's believed to have been kidnapped along with the child's mother. They are believed to have been taken by Jafaria Listenbee, 28, black male, short black hair and a red jacket. Listenbee is driving a 2015 blue Mitsubishi Outlander, MN plate CCG 372. MINNEAPOLIS (KEYC) The Minnesota Bureau of Apprehension has canceled an Amber Alert after a Minnesota man forced a woman and child into a vehicle at gunpoint Wednesday.
Authorities say the Minneapolis Police Department responded to a call of physical domestic assault at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Jafaria Listenbee, who is approximately 5′8″, 200 pounds and has short black hair, was seen wearing a red jacket.
